To know Juan Geuer was to be
profoundly touched by him.
He was a self-taught scientist and
inventive engineer, a gifted poet and superb writer, an
insightful philosopher, a social activist and mentor to
many young people, and finally ... a brilliant,
ground-breaking artist.
The film provides an introduction
by the artist himself to a body of work that is not
merely ingenious and inventive, but genuinely
revolutionary.
Juan was in touch with Gaia (Mother
Earth) and nature more intimately than anyone else.
Period! He sensed hidden beauty in nature, and devised
brilliant ways to bring out and showcase that beauty
where other artists didn’t even suspect that such beauty
might exist.

At just under thirty-four minutes, this film merely
hints at the astounding depth of this man, but it does
serve to give a brief overview of a remarkable life
that, as we say in the film, reads like something out of
Hollywood.
I believe that given the right exposure, Juan Geuer and
his art will be remembered and appreciated long into the
future along with the other greats from the art world.
I hope this film contributes to obtaining that exposure.
